How did I naturally regulate my cycle? After many doctor's appointments I found what worked for me and it could possibly work work for you as well.

How I Naturally Regulate My Cycle

In order to naturally regulate my cycle, I had to make a lot of changes in my life. As I prepare my body to try to conceive again there are a few things I would like to share that are a part of my routine now. But first, let’s discuss in detail what occurred last year to help me naturally regulate my cycle.

In 2015 my husband and I went through 3 failed IUIs with Clomid and 1 failed IVF. According to my fertility doctor, I was not ovulating on my own regularly and that was the only cause of me not getting pregnant. I was also overweight and my self-care along with self-love was nonexistent so that did not help the situation AT ALL. As you can imagine I became even more depressed and that did not make anything easier or give me the motivation I needed to make a change with my health and for the better. Struggling to become pregnant, especially in your twenties, is not an easy pill to swallow. You assume these things only happen to people who are older and fail to realize that infertility does not discriminate. It can affect anyone.

March 18, 2016, I turned 30 and was finally ready to make the changes I needed to naturally regulate my cycle to become pregnant. I also wanted to feel better about myself inside and out. During my twenties, I was my great-grandmother’s sole care provider and not only was I caring for her but I was helping other family and friends and falling short with my own care. Don’t get me wrong I love my grandmother dearly and losing her is one of the hardest things I am dealing with daily. But it does not mean I had to sacrifice my well-being to help her and others that I love. This is still a work in progress for me.

In April 2016 I had a one on one talk with myself and made a plan to execute what I needed to in order to feel healthy and happy with myself again. I am happy to say I have lost over 40 pounds and counting. I talk more about this process in this blog post, 40 Pounds Lost and Counting, but in the meantime, I will tell you that I went completely vegan and tried products from the Natural Fertility Shop. The products I used not only helped to naturally regulate my cycle but the hormonal balancing that occurred help my mood and depression tremendously.

The first product I ordered was The Fertility Cleanse Kit in July 2016. This kit includes:

  • Conceptions Tea (3 oz.),
  • Liver Cleanse Tea (3 oz.),
  • Liver Renew (60 capsules),
  • Milk Thistle Tincture (1 oz.),
  • Women’s Best Friend (60 capsules), and
  • Instructions for Fertility Cleanse

The second product I ordered in August 2016, was HormoneWise Fertility Kit. This kit includes:

  • Fertile Woman One Daily – Whole Food Multivitamin (60 tablets),
  • Fertilica Cod Liver Oil (100 softgels),
  • Fertilica DIM Complete (60 tablets),
  • Harmonize Phase 1 (4 oz.),
  • Harmonize Phase 2 (4 oz.), and
  • Instructions for HormoneWise Fertility Kit

The third products I ordered in July 2017 was the Fertility Preparation Kit and Fertility Smoothie Kit w/ Plant protein.

Fertility Preparation Kit includes:

  • Fertile Woman One Daily – Whole Food Multivitamin (60 tablets),
  • Fertilica Cod Liver Oil (100 softgels),

  • FertiliGreens – Superfood Nutrition (8.8 oz.),
  • Fertilica Plant Protein Powder – Vanilla (15 servings),
  • Instructions for Fertility Smoothie Kit, and
  • Fertility Smoothies: Elixirs for Optimal Fertility’ eBook

I used the Fertility Cleanse Kit during the months of July and August 2016. For the months of September and October, I used the HormoneWise Fertility Kit. In October 2016 I had my first non-medicated cycle and extremely happy with the outcome. Not only do I feel as though changing my diet and losing weight was a huge factor to naturally regulate my cycle but also the products I used.

On November 18, 2016, I discover that I am pregnant. Can you say, complete shocker?! I faithfully used both kits for 2 months each. I was able to not only naturally regulate my cycle but became pregnant as well. Unfortunately, this pregnancy ended in a miscarriage on January 6, 2017. The day before was our 12-week doctor appointment. We discovered that the baby had stopped growing around 8 weeks. Once I am ready to open up about those details I will share. It is a situation I wouldn’t wish on anyone and my day to day coping mechanisms are a challenge at times.

Despite the heartbreak and despair I feel at times because of the miscarriage I am optimistic. I am optimistic because my body is finally moving in the right direction. After years of trying and failed fertility treatments, I was able to get pregnant on my own with the proper love and care that my body needed. I am also happy to say that I still have regular cycles. I am currently using the Fertility Preparation Kit as well as the Fertility Smoothie Kit as I try to prepare my body to conceive once again and hopefully make it full term.

How did I naturally regulate my cycle? After many doctor's appointments I found what worked for me.

My husband and I have not given up yet and neither should you. Until the doctors tell us there is no way we will become pregnant we will continue trying. I am also eating a 90% vegan (no animal products) diet, I occasionally have seafood but it is rare. With my new found ways of eating and along with the kits from the Natural Fertility Shop, I am hoping to see the two lines on a pregnancy test once again.

I have included links to the kits that I have used and currently am using. Yes, I will receive a small commission if you purchase through my links. BUT this article was written from my personal experiences and is in no way exaggerated. I really do hope that those of you who are struggling to conceive or just want to prepare your body to become pregnant give some of these products a try AFTER you do your own research.

If nothing else I was able to naturally regulate my cycle and my cycles have been irregular since 2010. Let me know if you do give these products a try by dropping a comment below. Share how you like them or don’t like them. If the products work for you or didn’t. Hopefully, we can help others find ways that may be beneficial to them before going through the emotional and financial roller-coaster that is infertility treatments.

From my healing heart to yours,
